Service Guarantee

Perfumecalmcraft stands behind our appliance repair work. If a repair we performed fails within the warranty period due to our workmanship or defective parts we installed, we will return to fix the issue at no additional charge. This guarantee applies to both parts and labor.

Return Terms

Timeframe for Returns

Warranty claims and return requests must be made within the warranty period specified at the time of service, typically 90 days from the date of service completion. Requests made outside the warranty period will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for warranty service or refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The issue must occur within the warranty period
  • The problem must be related to the original repair work performed by us
  • The appliance must not have been misused, modified, or damaged after our service
  • Original parts installed by us must not have been replaced or tampered with
  • The appliance must have been used according to manufacturer guidelines

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be available under the following circumstances:

  • If we are unable to diagnose the problem after a diagnostic visit, we will refund the diagnostic fee
  • If a repair fails within the warranty period due to our workmanship or defective parts, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund
  • If you cancel a scheduled service appointment with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled time, any prepaid fees will be refunded
  • If we determine during diagnosis that the appliance cannot be repaired economically, and you choose not to proceed, the diagnostic fee will be refunded

Non-Refundable Situations

The following fees and services are non-refundable:

  • Diagnostic fees once diagnosis is complete, unless we are unable to identify the problem
  • Consultation fees once the consultation has been provided
  • Repair fees once repair work has been completed and the appliance is functioning, unless the repair fails within the warranty period
  • Fees for parts that have been installed, unless the parts are defective or the repair fails within warranty
  • Fees charged for missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice)

Return Costs

Return shipping and service call costs are handled as follows:

  • For valid warranty claims, we cover all costs including return service calls, parts replacement, and labor
  • For returns outside warranty or non-warranty situations, return costs may be the responsibility of the customer
  • Refund processing fees, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount

To initiate a return, refund, or warranty claim, follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us

Contact Perfumecalmcraft within the warranty period (or as soon as possible) via phone or email. Provide your service reference number, if available, and describe the issue you are experiencing.

Step 2: Assessment

We will review your case and may arrange for a technician to assess the situation. This assessment helps us determine if the issue is covered under warranty or qualifies for a refund.

Step 3: Resolution

Based on the assessment, we will:

  • Schedule a warranty repair at no additional cost if covered
  • Process a refund if eligible, which will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • Propose an alternative solution if the issue is not covered under warranty

Step 4: Documentation

All warranty claims and refund requests will be documented, and you will receive written confirmation of the resolution.

Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Terms

You may cancel a scheduled service appointment under the following terms:

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time: Full refund of any prepaid fees
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: Prepaid fees may be retained or a cancellation fee may apply
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Full service fee may be charged

How to Cancel

To cancel a scheduled service, contact us by phone or email as soon as possible. Provide your appointment details and reason for cancellation.

Refund Procedure

Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used
  • Bank processing may take additional time depending on your financial institution
  • You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed

Partial Refunds

In some cases, partial refunds may be issued if:

  • Only part of the service was completed
  • Only certain parts of the repair failed
  • The issue was partially caused by factors outside our control

Non-Returnable Items

The following items and services cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Completed consultation services
  • Completed diagnostic services (unless we are unable to identify the problem)
  • Completed repair services that are functioning properly
  • Custom-ordered or special-order parts that have been installed
  • Labor charges for completed work
  • Emergency service fees for completed emergency calls

General Legal Requirements

This Return Policy complies with New Zealand consumer protection laws, including:

  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
  • Fair Trading Act 1986
  • Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy
